No. The handle should sit just behind the waistband of your pants creating a slight gap to slide your hand in and grab it. If your pants are tighter you may need to pull the waistband out with your weak hand but with a bit of practice it should become one quick, smooth motion that is sure to surprise any ”bad guy”.

Much easier than you’d expect! For men; while standing just grab the front of the holster and twist it to the side. If that’s too difficult then you can loosen it a bit but typically that isn’t necessary. When you need to sit down just pull it up a little bit, you don’t need to take it off and don’t need to worry about it falling into the next stall.

For women; just pull it up before you sit down. That’s all.

YES! All fabric SmartCarry holsters are machine washable and can even be dried in the dryer if necessary although we do recommend air drying to extend the life of the materials whenever possible.

Leather holster fronts can be cleaned with leather cleaner while the back can be cleaned with a damp, soapy cloth and allowed to air dry.

Nope! Not a problem at all, actually. It’s difficult to explain this one but you can find reviews on our Facebook page from some of our customers that would be considered “bigger guys”. Most are shocked at how easy and comfortable is.

Absolutely not! While it conceals best front and slightly off center, you can wear the SmartCarry holster anywhere around the waist. It is completely up to you. Every body is different and what works for some may not work for all. We suggest playing around with placement until you find your “sweet spot”.
