Hi Charlie,
I received my Smart Carry today, wow!
It feels great and no trouble doing the usual things and very comfortable.
I ordered a 42 hip size and if I don't really stretch the Velcro band it doesn't fit. I measured it and its 39" If this is normal that the ends don't meet until stretched then we are ok. Thanks again for your prompt delivery of a great product.
M. O. - Pickens, SCHi Charlie,
I just had to write you again and share more of my experiences with the SmartCarry that I purchases a few weeks ago.
This is my primary, well, my only used holster now. I see no reason to use another. I have purchased several holsters in my quest for the perfect holster. There are times I have felt addicted to purchasing the perfect holster and most CCW folks can understand that feeling.
When my SmartCarry arrived at my house and I put it on, my jaw almost dropped to the floor. I was amazed when I actually had it on and had my revolver holstered. I had been looking for a holster that would allow me to wear anything I wanted, shirt tucked in or not. Well, this holster is my answer.
The ONLY concern I have ever had with the SmartCarry is the ability to draw while seated. BUT I have found through practice that drawing while sitting down is not difficult at all. With practice, anyone can draw in the seated position quite fast. It just takes some time and practice. One thing I have discovered...I have carried a Taurus 605 .357 mag 5-shot revolver. When trying to draw from the SmartCarry, the exposed hammer would catch on my jeans or pants. So, I purchased and switched to the Taurus 650 .357 mag revolver, which has no exposed hammer.
Now, I have no problems drawing at all. Also, I have developed as much speed in drawing from the SmartCarry as I had with other holsters, having to lift a shirt to get to the IWB holsters I used to use. Also, for any who ride motorcycles, I am a Harley owner. I have ridden my Road King Classic all over God's creation with the SmartCarry and it is very comfortable...so comfortable that it is easy to forget I am carrying at all. I am completely satisfied with the SmartCarry and this one holster fits all my needs. I never thought I would find a holster that does that, but I have.
Thanks Charlie!
Dr. B. L. - CounselorCharlie,
I just had to sit down and write to you. The SmartCarry just arrived. I tried it on. I must say my mouth has dropped to the floor. I have never tried or put on or used a conceal and carry holster like this before...ever! It is incredible! It fits; it works; it is completely concealed; it is comfortable; I can draw fast even in my snug jeans. I can wear my Harley T shirts and tuck them in and let my Harley belt buckle show and NO ONE can tell I am carrying at all. It is so deeply concealed.
Thank you so much for creating and bringing such a product to us. This is the most incredible (have i used that word yet) conceal and carry holster I have ever seen.
B. L., Ph.D.I received my Smart Carry about 5 days after ordering. I have a .40 cal Sig 239 and I just couldn't get over how invisible it is when using your holster! Unbelievable! Its material and workmanship are of the best quality also and all the testimonies I read ( which sold me to buy one ) are true and accurate. Thanks again, and you may use this as a testimony if you wish.
D. S. - Holbrook, MAJust wanted to let you know that I recieved my SmartCarry yesterday and wore it for 3 hours the day I got it and wore it at work for 10 hours today. WOW!! Total comfort and complete concealment. Took no time at all to get used to it. I am a happy, satisfied customer and will recommend your SmartCarry holster to everyone I know. Thanks for a great, great product.
Sincerely,

place your order!Charlie,
I spoke with you on the phone last week and you helped me decide on ordering the large, Standard Model for carrying my Beretta 96. I was a little leery of being able to carry a larger gun in this manner and also be comfortable. After wearing it for the past week, I no longer have that concern. It is the most comfortable concealment holster I have worn. While off-duty, I generally wear a pair of shorts and t-shirt, which is not conducive to carrying concealed. I can wear whatever I want and still have my gun too. Now I can go out of the house as a sheepdog and not as one of the sheep. Thank you for a great product.
S. J., Sergeant XXXXI have used the Smart Carry for several months now and I'm really satisfied with the holster. I originally ordered in it for my Ruger SR9 9mm, but I have started to carry my Ruger LCP 380. It works really well with both guns. Yes I would by again if I wear this one out. Thanks
S. D. - Andersonville, TNThank You for the great product. I have had this holster for about a month now, and I contend that it is the best CC holster on the market today. I tried wearing the holster "LOW" as indicated, but I still had problems with the butt of my Bursa 380 CC, or Glock 26 printing just below the belt line to the right of my zipper. After many adjustments, I reverted to the "HIGH" technique with the butt of the gun positioned about 1/4 to 1/2 of the way up under the belt line, and the barrel down the zipper. Now the pistol is virtually invisible. I am 5 10" and weigh 155. I just tuck in my shirt and do not wear a belt for casual wear....So if the "LOW" technique doesn't do it for you just revert to the "HIGH" technique. THANK YOU again for thr GREAT Smart Carry holster
E. P. - Atlanta, GaCharlie,
Received the new holster Friday and wore it over the weekend, 8-10 hours at a time. Hands down the most comfortable holster I've ever worn. I can move without any worry of weapon retention and it is virtually invisible. My LEO friends were curious about the time to draw so I tried a few time trials. Having little practice with the holster I was nonetheless able to average 1.5-1.75 seconds both standing and seated, even in a car with a seatbelt on. My best time with a belt mounted concealed carry is a hair over 0.75 seconds, up to about 1.25 seconds if it is an IWB under a tucked shirt. With a little practice I easily see myself getting down to 0.75 seconds even with a tucked in shirt with my SmartCarry.
Looking at the new one you sent, I think the problem may not have been the stitching as much as it was just the wrong one for my gun. The pouch on this is smaller and the waist straps are shorter. Fits me nice and snug and keeps the gun tighter against my body so any printing is much less than before.
Thank you very much for helping me out with the holster and advice about my gun. I gave it the test for accidental fire you suggested and couldn't get it to fire no matter what I did while in the holster. Now my problem is I'm torn between the Crimson Trace and the TLR-2 (http://www.cabelas.com/p-0041370712628a.shtml). Any advice?
B. M. - Tallahassee, FLJust got my Smartcarry. It is the best holster for carry I ever had. I have a Sig 250 compact in 45 ACP. I always said what good is carry gun if it is uncomfortable to carry. I did not want to carry a small gun using a marginal powered cartilage. The Smartcarry is the solution ! I wear it around the house and ask the family "do you see the SIG?" They say "NO" Like the ad for a credit card company "Don't leave home without it" I like the idea that it is USA made by USA citizens. A great product. I will not be defenseless ever.

place your order!I just received the smartcarry holster yesterday and immediately strapped it on under blue jeans, took my wife out shopping and to Longhorns. I was a little paranoid, but not much, about my full-size 1911, the handle being the source of worry. I really don't think it'll be an issue.
Then I had another thought after getting home. I was born and raised in this rural spot my whole life. Never wore overalls, but decided I wanted to about 5 years ago, so I bought a few pairs. Kinda hard to get used to,even though they're probably the most comfortable garment one can wear. I needed a reason to wear 'em regularly, I originally thought they'd be perfect for concealed carry of a full-size 1911, but I couldn't find a way. 'Til now.
I thought about my overalls, and how smartcarry is perfect for 'em, and I'm right! WOW! I'm wearing' overalls right now with my smartcarry rig, there's NO 'print' from the firearm grip, and another big plus is the ease of access to your firearm, no waistband to grab and pull away, just reach and grab! Y'all wear yer overalls and take this country back! HAH! Thanks for a great product, I'll recommend! See ya
K. W. - Carthage, TNI have been using your holster for the last 4 years and have just discovered a new way for "fast draw."
If I kept my belt drawn up tight I had difficulty reaching the pistol.
So I cut the right pocket out of the pants. Now I can put my hand in my pants and draw the pistol out of the pocket opening for a super fast , smooth draw.
No more fumbling with the belt trying to get the hand to the pistol.

R. A. - Largo, FLHello,
I bought a smart carry holster for my PX4 Subcompact and Kel-Tec PF9, and it's great! It is the best concealment holster, bar none. I have just one question. The PX4 and PF9 both have 3 inch barrels. I'm thinking about buying a S&W J-frame (642). Will this same holster that fits my PX4 and PF9 work with a snubbie?
Thanks, and congratulations on a great holster!
D. D. - Covington, TX
Webmasters note: Yes, the small size D. has is also the correct size for his 642 J-frame, he doen'st need another holster!Dear Charlie,
I received my holster in the mail today. I figured I would try it out with the larger of the weapons, the Glock 27 to see how it felt. I am amazed and astounded that it is virtually impossible to detect even when wearing tight jeans. It is totally easy to draw the weapon even from the sitting position. It is also perfectly comfortable to wear sitting down as I write this email.
I told you I would write this endorsement but now request that you do not use my name as I will be wearing this from now on and would not wish others to know it and try to look for it.
Sincerely, a retired Special Agent of the FBI.
Best to you.
B. S. - Lakeland, FLAs a customer who has purchased 4 smart carry's over the years I have to say that they are the cat's meow. I am using one to carry my S&W 325 night guard and it is the most comfortable holster there is. I can carry the night guard all day with no discomfort. Works fantastic when I am wearing bib overalls.
M. M. - Nashville, TN
place your order!I've been wearing the Smart Carry Holster almost every day, all day for three months. I'm carrying a luger 9mm under my 32-32 loose fit carpenter jeans, Dress pants, etc.... Nobody, in my busy household has noticed, nobody at work, meetings, or leisure activities has noticed. Shirt tucked in or out. people just do not notice. To be fair I'm not usually looking at that location on other guys but still. I've tried other conceal holsters. This is it.
Some improvements that would cause me to buy again before this one wears out (if it wears out)? I've cut the toe off a tube sock to go over the Velcro area in the back. if my shirt is not tucked in it has a tendency to scratch or poke the small of my back. I never undo the Velcro. I just pull the holster on in the morning before my pants, Or I'll pull it over my pants and then tuck it in.
I would like a model without the magazine pocket. when I carry extra mags the are in more accessible pockets. Frankly, I need that room for the usual stuff I'm carrying down there.
Thanks. I'll be back for more. Keep up the good work.
K. D. - Buffalo, MN
PS: Don't publish my name I'm easily found on the internet.Charlie,
I received my holster today! Everything about it is top notch. The fit of the gun is perfect. The fit around me is perfect. Stepping up one size was the right thing to do. I have been wearing it around the house all afternoon and it is absolutely not noticeable. I want to give you a hearty thank you for answering ALL of my many questions. It is hard to order something wearable on line. We nailed it! Again, many, many thanks!
Best regards,
M. S. - Danville, VAI've been using my Smartcarry for a couple of months now and I really like it. After using your product I don't use my inside-the-waist-band holster anymore.
One thing I did not see mentioned in the testimonials was the fact that the Smartcarry is comfortable to sleep with. I found this out while babysitting my boys at my ex-wife's place. Sleeping in my side and back I don't even notice the holster. In fact my keys and my wallet are more noticeable. I have napped on my stomach with my Glock in a Smartcarry (on a bed, not a hard floor) as well. My preschool age boys have never made me, even when sitting on my lap with my legs crossed.
So...who needs to sleep with a concealed Glock? Well, if I were working for a governmental organisation or NGO in Irag or Afghanistan, or some other less than secure area, I would sleep with my Smartcarry. I have found that it is more comfortable and more secure than holding a pistol under a pillow. Besides, I would have a spare magazine if I were dragged out of bed by kidnappers/terrorists.
Thanks for the great product and service.
Semper Fi and Semper Paratus,
S. W. - Deerfield Beach, FLDear Charlie:
I have owned a Security V model for a number of years which carried my GLOCK 30 (plus a mag) daily everywhere - completely concealed. Your product allowed me to carry in places where concealment was extremely important and had never once been made by anyone!
Recently, I began to think seriously about carrying my second GLOCK 30 (the two have consecutive serial numbers) as a "quick re-load," but couldn't find any "conventional" holsters that would work. Then I thought of Smartcarry and ordered your security ambidextrous model.
Well, I received it the other day (less than a week after placing my order) and wow! It actually hides my GLOCKS in just about any pair of pants I own! I'm sitting here at work as I write this carrying both guns and feel very comfortable, with no one the wiser! So, it seems that my other holsters will "bite the dust" as they say, as this Smartcarry security ambidextrous rig is now my new, everyday carry. Thanks, Charlie!
Yours truly,
P. S. - Harpers Field, NYTo the SmartCarry Folks,
I am a woman of average size, but one great limiting factor for carrying concealed is my scoliosis. It is out of the question for me to carry around my shoulders. To carry my S&W M&P compact 9mm in a cross-carry holster means I must wear a sturdy belt around my waist and struggle to hide the sturdy leather of my holster as well as the handgun. The belt restricts the movement of my lower back and between it and my weight, my sacro-iliac area can suffer by the end of the day.
The SmartCarry seemed the only good solution for me. I was surprised with how comfortable it can be for me, as long as I am wearing pants with a longer crotch and a bit looser in the waist. The length of even the compact pokes down in the crotch and the butt end comes back into my belly, even when the holster is worn low as it should be. So it isn't a perfect system.
That said, there have been days I forget I'm wearing it, and the balance of the weight closer to my midline and my center of gravity is do-able with my curved and twisted back. It is the best option I've come across.
I am considering carrying something smaller in the future, and will most likely purchase a new SmartCarry to suit the next handgun choice. I've been wearing this one for a while. The elastic at the edge of the hips is starting to get a ripple in it from the stress there, but the velcro is holding up and the rest of it is fine. I am sure it will continue to hold together well for quite a while.
My only request is that SmartCarry design a holster without the extra pocket for a magazine. I don't need to carry a mag there and never do, but the extra material simply adds to the bulk and the discomfort. I would much prefer the option of having just the barrel of a handgun hidden in the front.
Thank you, SmartCarry folks, for making concealed carry a possibility for people like me! I recommend it to women as well as men.
