I've been using SmartCarry for about a year now, and I'm always amazed at how comfortable and well-designed it is. As a tall, skinny male, however, I sometimes wonder whether I'm "printing" just a little too much. My fears were alleviated recently when I was randomly patted down when entering a concert at a small venue in a shady area of town. The bouncer searched me reasonably thoroughly, but he wasn't thorough enough to detect my Sig P229 in my SmartCarry.

Charles, I recieved the smart carry two days ago. It IS remarkably comfortable and the best ccw I have seen. I can't tell you how much Insurance and Assurance this give me in traveling. My wife says it seemed to "take a lot of pressure off me". Thanks for a great product.

26 pages of feedback can't be wrong!!! I ordered your holster for my glock 27 and glock 19 on Friday (late afternoon) and it arrived today (Monday). Did I mention that it was Easter weekend. Customer service at it's finest. I wore the holster all evening long, and my wife didn't know I was carrying until I told her. I live in Illinois, just across the river from St. Louis, where concealed carry isn't allowed, however I have a FL non-resident permit that allows me to carry in Missouri. I think I'll make up some reason to go to St. Louis just so I can carry in my new holster.

Charlie, I have heard some really fine comments about you, personally. My brother, Xxxxx Xxxxxx, from the Memphis, Tennessee area, recently purchased your product for his Glock 19.

He told me how much he enjoyed talking with you, and how personal you are, making him to feel good and confident about his purchase.

Background: Xxxxx is a former LEO. He, like trained others, are used to having the confidence of his weapon on his right hip. Last night, Xxxxx told me he initially had serious doubts about your product, but your phone conversation with him gave him the confidence to go ahead and make the purchase skeptically, if nothing else, just to try it out and send it back. Besides, what did hie have to lose?

Well, after a few short number of days, he began to get the "hang of it." He tried wearing during the day as he would travel to different job sites for new home construction, meeting with builders of million dollars homes. This involved being out in the middle of nowhere, away from civilization in the country, looking for a single lot with no house numbers or directions. Not knowing what he would encounter along the way, he wanted the confidence of having his concealed weapon within easy access while driving for him at all times.

Now that last part of the sentence is what he was worried about--"easy access while driving". That is what made him really skeptical when even remotely considering your product. Your phone call with him gave him the confidence that it was possible for this to work out for him.

Long story short, Xxxxx has been successfully carrying his Glock 19 on a daily basis. His wife, who also has her CHL, is always wondering whether he has it or not. Xxxxx gets a big kick out of that! He even wears it with shorts out in the yard with no trouble. Yes, your product has done everything you said it would, and more--the more part being the confidence of personal security at all times.

So here I am with the same questions and hesitation that he had, placing my order with you. Yes, I am a former LEO with a high level of training with my Glock for a large metropolitan police department. My comfort and confidence comes with my Glock on my hip. You being willing to take the time to talk with Xxxxx by phone and his success with your product is the reason I am here today.

It is not so much your product, but your personal interest and kindness that make people want to share their success with others, wanting them to meet and talk with someone as nice as you about their purchase. You provide that warmth and understanding before the sale that makes people feel good about your product.

A quick note about my order. I reviewed your site carefully about your product. I am used to carrying a fanny pack with other items, besides my Glock. Your second pouch product caught my eye--but at what additional thickness of it pushing my clothes out? Then I found the webpage of your NEW Security-V product. That looks like that might work better. My additional products will be thin, like money.

If the new Security V model is at least close to the thickness and comfort of your original product without sacrifice, then that is what I would like to order.

If you have a moment that we could talk briefly about the Security V and its construction and comfort, that would be great. Besides, I would like to just say hello to such a great guy.

I sing the praises of SmartCarry every time someone raises this issue. Go to www.smartcarry.com and take a look at the holster that I've used all day, every day, for almost three years.

I am a computer professional and am required to dress business casual. I live in the desert southwest and never wear a jacket. The only folks who wear jackets are lawyers, executives, and other deranged street people. Since the closest of these in which I fit are the deranged street people, I would rather avoid wearing a jacket, thereby completing the mental image for my clients.

I carry my G23 and an extra magazine all the time. I carry in the developer's room. I carry in the board room. I carry in the server room. I carry all the time.

Since this is not a conventional holster, I had to learn some techniques for wear and adjustments, but those were not hard.

This is a deep-concealment holster that elevates concealment over ease of presentation. But with practice I have learned to present my weapon in around 1.5 to 1.75 seconds. You will not "quick-draw" with this holster, but no CEO, client, co-worker, or anyone else has ever asked me if I'm packing.

Ever.

Charlie at SmartCarry shows a photo of him packing his 1911. You can't tell he's armed. Charlie is skinny. I am not skinny -- not by any broad consideration (never have been, never will be). I won't post photos of a fat man carrying his G23 but I'll assure you that even my wife has to ask if I'm armed. (I don't know why she asks. I'm always armed.) But the point is that she can't tell. At least not by looking.

Many folks criticize the SmartCarry concept because it rests "off the bow" of a man's personal parts. It doesn't point there. It doesn't muzzle anything except the ground. The SmartCarry holster covers the trigger guard and the only way a person can draw is to lay your trigger finger alongside the rail as you draw.

The only criticism I have is that the SmartCarry is made of fabric. It has started to wear after three years and I'm thinking of ordering another one.

I received my SmartCarry yesterday and wore it to the skeet range today with a Kimber Combat Carry and spare mag. I was favorably impressed with the holster. No one noticed I was packing and the rig did not impede me from performing any of my shooting tasks. The officer's grip on the Combat Carry is easier to conceal than the grip on my full-size Kimber. The Combat Carry is also built on an aluminum frame and knocks about half a pound off the gov't model. Anyway, thanks for the great product.

Let me express my appreciation and surprise over the arrival of your holster today in the mail. I live on a college campus here in Utah. While it is legal in my state to carry concealed with a permit on college grounds, the culture has not come to accept it very well. I usually carry a IWB holster that I customized as a cross between a FBI cant thum snap holster and a Galco Skyops holster. It virtually disappears under a tucked in polo shirt and somewhat under a t-shirt. However, I have to wear a belt and it is awkward sitting in a chair as the holster also tends to poke out in that position. Not to mention the small parts of the 'y' clip are still visible. I have been searching for a way to carry when I want no one to know or tell no matter what. I received your holster in the mail today after class and immediately went through the instructions and so forth. Before long I was onto a test drive as I rode on an scooter over to some local school offices to conduct business. I must say it is extremely comfortable and not noticeable at all. I have always carried my wallet in the front of my pants and that basically removes what is showing, which is not much. Drawing is rather fast while standing. It is still a bit slower sitting. However, I think most of this has to do with the fact that I am wearing pants that are a bit too tight. Switching to different pants seems to speed up draw. As I travel this summer, I can see how this holster will easily be my most popular carry holster. With a bit of practice I will be very happy with the results. I have to say I was skeptical with all the comments on the website. But I am a converted believer for sure. Thank you for such a quick delivery and the quality of work.

Just wanted to say thanks. I received the holster yesterday and had time to try it out last night. It took about five minutes to get comfortable with it, now I'm pretty well convinced it really is the deepest concealment holster available. I ended up switching weapons because the hammer of my 92F kept digging into my lower abdomen, but my SigPro has a smoother more rounded hammer and is just a little smaller. I also had to adjust the holster more to the left, but it sits very comfortably now. All in all I think I've found a very satisfactory rig that I am quite comfortable with. Thanks for a great product. I hesitate to tell my fellow concealed carry friends because this holster is so effective that I'm pretty sure they won't even know I'm carrying. This is such a smart solution, they'll definitely want one though.

I just rec'd 3 new SMART CARRY HOLSTERS from ol' Charlie Parrott in Florida. I ordered XS for my NAA Guardian 380, S for the S & W 642, and he recommended a Med. For the SIG 239 - .40. My carry problems are over !

Form, fit, and function are excellent.

I received my security model Smart Carry yesterday and was finally able to try it on tonight. What an amazing product. When I'm not at work, I usually wear jeans or other casual attire. With jeans and a t-shirt, I'm able to carry my .357 magnum AND my .380 at the same time very comfortably and "very" concealed! Thanks for a great product (it's gonna get a lot of use).

I bought your medium sized SmartCarry for my Glock 27 and 30 about six weeks ago. Just as advertised, I can conceal and not worry about how I'm dressed, no need for un-tucked shirts, etc. It eliminated my indecision about how to carry but not dress in a manner that I didn't prefer.

I have a hot tip: to virtually eliminate any print through for blue jean use (without the need for extreme bagginess), I used iron on patches on the inside of my pants. You can't even tell if I ask you to inspect for a gun.

Got the holster on Saturday and have been wearing it since with absolutely no problem. I can't believe how well it conceals my Bersa Thunder Compact .45 and one extra clip. I have had my conceal carry license for 6 months and could never find a comfortable way of concealment until I got your holster. This thing is truly remarkable and it is unbelievably easy to draw your weapon from the holster. I can now carry comfortably without the constant fear of someone noticing my handgun.
