Charlie,

I wanted to drop you a quick note to praise you on the holster you designed. I was skeptical at first, as with much in the world today. I have to tell you that this holster is the finest concealed carry holster I have ever seen. As soon as I got it in the mail (by the way was very fast) I strapped it on went downstairs to where my wife and 3 other people were gathered. I told them I was concealing my handgun. I asked them to point it out. Each one said I had it in the small of my back. My weapon was completely concealed. I must say I am extremely impressed with your holster. I will tell all of my friends to purchase one. I just wanted to give you some much deserved feedback. Thanks for giving me the edge if ever I need to defend the ones I love.

Sincerely,

C. B. - Standish, ME

I ride dirt bikes out in some pretty remote places and always have a problem comfortably carrying a gun that is quickly accessible. I carry a Kahr CW9 in your holster and can ride comfortably all day long. It is the only method of carry that is quick and wont hurt me when I go down. This weekend I went into a ditch going around 60 to 65 MPH. I was tossed in the air, slammed my head into the ground, rolled and slid and bruised most of my body, but the gun never poked, bruised, hurt me, and most importantly didn't go off in my pants. If I was using any IWB holster the gun would have caused my body more damage or simply went flying out of the holster. Honestly, I forgot I was carrying until the throbbing in my head went away and I realized my gun and extra mag. Didn't budge at all. Almost everyone I show your holster is weary about carrying next to their manhood, but if it was ever going to go off it would have in that crash. I will continue to recommend your product to everyone I can.

Charlie,

I received my SmartCarry a week or so ago and wanted to test it out before sending you any feedback about the product. I feel like I've worn it enough now to have a good idea on what I think about the SmartCarry.

My first thought after opening the package and holding the SC in my hands were literally "Ok, so I just spent $50 on what looks to be a fanny pack without a zipper". However my confidence wasn't shaken at that point because I had read so many positive things about the SC. I knew there had to be something to this holster.

Trying it on for the first time without a pistol in it I felt like it was surprisingly comfortable. The Velcro didn't dig into my skin as I had thought it might and the infinite adjustability of it made the fit around my hips very nice and secure.

I proceeded to add my unloaded Glock 27 and a second magazine to the pouch and proceeded to walk around a bit, standing and sitting, jumping up and down, running back and forth through the house to see if it would hold up. (I must have looked like a lunatic!) Needless to say, the SmartCarry didn't budge and my pistol and magazine stayed securely in place.

Then it dawned on me....this thing is really comfortable! But I knew the real test was going to be how it performed with pants on. Would it still be comfortable and concealed? That question was answered quickly as I slipped on my every day jeans. Voila! The pistol and magazine disappeared under my pants.

I can't say enough about the SmartCarry holster. It is now the first holster I go to every day when getting dressed. I can't imagine too many scenarios where the SmartCarry wouldn't be the top choice for concealed carry. The comfortable yet secure feeling it provides me while concealing my pistol far exceeds my expectations as well as most other holster I have ever tried on.

Thanks again for the SmartCarry, I think anybody who conceal carry's should take the opportunity to try your holster out.

Regards

Subject: Love the holster

Charlie and all the I folks at Smartcarry,

I love the Smartcarry holster! I have a very bad hip condition, I need to have a replacement, but my heart is to weak to stand the strain. I have tried conventional IWB and OWB right side holsters and after 5 minutes I am in excruciating pain. Cross draws are not much better as they eventually put too much pressure on the right side as well. I have tried a finely made pocket holster and it too eventually created to much pressure on the right hip for all day wear.

With the Smartcarry I can wear a holster 16 to 20 hours a day! I can even nap in my recliner wearing the Smartcarry with my P-11 and a S&W 12 round magazine as well. I am looking forward to getting a full size holster and trying it out with my S&W 5903 TSW soon.

I do find I need to lose around 10 more pounds, to remove my paunch, to make it the perfect holster for me.

Keep up the great work, carry on!

I'm a retired LEO from Orlando, FL now residing in SW Missouri. Last week I received the Smart Carry Holster for my Sig P220 Compact. Yesterday I attended a firearms qualification course for retired law enforcement officers which was offered by the Missouri State University. This course meets the standards established by HR 218 pursuant to 18 U.SO.CO. 926C of the law Enforcement Officers Safety Act of 2004 which permits retired law enforcement to carry a concealed firearm provided you qualify annually. In attendance at this course were a number of retired law enforcement officers from various parts of the country but primarily from the Kansas City PD. Prior to qualification the topic of concealed carry was discussed. Of course, I had to bring up the attributes of the Smart Carry holster, since nobody in attendance was familiar with it. I must say, everyone was very impressed and I suspect you will be receiving a number of orders. I also showed his holster to a very prominent gun dealer in Ozark, Mo (Elephant and Castle) and suspect he will be contacting you if he has not already done so. He was also very impressed with the Smart Carry.

Your Smart Carry holster is everything you say it is and more. Very comfortable to wear and carry a Sig P220 Compact which is really not that compact (.45 ACP with 3.9 inch barrel) totally concealed with a spare magazine as well. Even though this holster was made for the Sig P220 compact, I did try my full size Sig P226 in it, and found I could carry it in comfort totally concealed as well. However to be on the safe side, and have the trigger guard completely covered by the holster, my next order will be for the larger Smart Carry so I can carry the larger gun as well.

Thanks for a great concealed carry holster.

Mr. Parrott,

You are to be commended on such a fine example of American ingenuity. When I got my SmartCarry 3 days after I ordered it, I provide you with the hip measurements. I opened the package and tried to fasten it around my waist and thought, "He didn't make the velco belt long enought" - then I remembered that its supposed to stretch. The fit is perfect for my Glock 26. Its almost scary how easily you can forget you are carrying pistol + 21 rounds of ammo. The function of SmaryCarry is intuitive and natural.

Hey All,

I got my new Smartcarry holster today and my Ruger P90DC fits great standing, walking and sitting. I tried my Glock 30 in it WITH an extra clip and it is unbelievable. I'm a big guy (6'5" and 360 pounds). I'm wearing it very low like the youtube video showed and it doen't show at all. That's definately the key. Thanks for the fast service and a great product.

Subject: Wonderful Holsters!!

Dear Charlie,

I ordered one of your holsters for my wife's Taurus PT-111 and I must admit that I have worn it more this summer than I have my own inside the waist holster. It is very comftorble, and I can completely conceal even with just shorts and a tee shirt. I was wondering if you know anyone who uses one for a 5" Para Ord P14, the thick framed double stack 1911. If so does it wear as easy as the compact pistols. I am thinking of ordering one, because I just got a nice P14 engraved with my unit crest and OIF 07-08 for my last deployment. Any how, thank you for the great holsters, and can't wait to order more.

Hello again Mr. Parrott (or Charlie if I may):

The "Charlie if I may" is because I feel I know you a bit after reading the Family section of your website and the Aircraft section. Looks like you've got a wonderful family. I especially loved the pictures and the story of your Piper J-4 Cub and how you got the pictures. I also am a AMA member, new to R/C modeling about 7 years ago. You are quite the R/C pilot as well. And that P40 Warhawk looks incredible. It looks like it had aileron, rudder and elevator control. I didn't know that the radios in the early 60's could do that. With your electronic background, you probably built the radio equipment yourself.

Well, I don't expect that you remember me. I'm Exxx Axxxx and, we talked about half a year ago when I ordered my SmartCarry for my Seecamp .32 with Pocket Slipper Laser Aimer. It has seen almost daily use. It is my preferred carry method. I have worn it dancing, to church, and everywhere without a problem. I am also a surgeon and wear it underneath scrubs on late nights to the Emergency Rooms and even into the Operating Room so I don't have to risk putting my weapon in a changing room locker. It is so comfortable that I'll forget that I am wearing it. (I have since been able to buy a Seecamp .380 and use a magazine extension and took off the PSLA, so I could grip with more than one finger.)

If you need a picture of the Seecamp with Pocket Slipper for your website, I can send you one. Also, if you want to use any of my comments for your website, please feel free, just use my initials.

Anyway, I am writing just to let you know I just ordered another SmartCarry Security V online. This time in White and for a Ruger LCP with Crimson Trace Laser. My current SmartCarry is an extra small (I think) and the butt of the Ruger comes up above the SmartCarry and pokes me in the gut. So, I wanted to make sure that the one you recommend for the Ruger LCP is a little bigger. I'll need that little side pocket for an extra magazine and the security pocket model in right hand draw. My hips are 43".

Please give me a call at XXX-XXX-XXXX (cell) for any questions. The order and credit-card information was placed on-line.

Thank you for making a wonderful holster and enjoy a much deserved vacation.

Received my holster on Thursday. Talk about quick shipping. It was very easy to put on and adjust. The Glock 36 fits perfectly and it is vey comfortable and really does not print. Who would ever have guessed that the perfect answer for concealed carry could be so simple? It fits well standing, walking and driving. This thing is great. Prior to buying your SmartCarry I resorted to carrying a KelTec 380 most times. Now I can carry a .45 without a problem. I canmnot even tell I have it on.

If I wanted to carry my HK USP Compact .45 would the same holster work? Do you also male one for the Glock 17?

Thanks so much.

R. W. - Southern Pines, NC

Webmaster's note: We've informed R. W. that his H&K USP .45 Compact w/ a 3.8" bbl will carry just fine in the medium size SmartCarry® he has for his Glock 36 but he'll need our large size for his Glock 17 w/ a 4.6" barrel.

Charlie,

I received my SmartCarry yesterday I am very impressed so far. I work in a medical facility (ER) at night and wear scrubs most of the time. I had tried several IWB holsters and the PagerPal, but these were too heavy or cumbersome and are currently collecting dust in my garage. I had resorted to either carrying in a fanny pack (got in the way frequently) or leaving my weapon in my office (inaccessible in an emergency). I used the SmartCarry for a full 10 hour shift last night and it was comfortable and concealed the entire time, even with sitting, bending, and lifting. Thanks for a great product. I just wish I had known about it years ago.

Dear Charlie,

After reading most of the customer feedback on your website and determining the correct size for my purchased but not yet delivered Glock 26, I placed an order for a Small SmartCarry the afternoon of August 20. I received it on August 23 via USPS Priority Mail. Talk about fast shipping!!!

I wore it around the house for several hours with a Walther PPK/s and it was very comfortable. As other customers have written, it may take a little while to determine the best positioning for each wearer, but once you do, it's very comfortable. I have even taken naps while wearing it!

Thanks for providing the information regarding the original Thunderwear and SmartCarry. I did not know they were now different products as I had bought a Thunderwear holster for my SIG P228 from the old C&C Marketing back in the early 90's. After you pointed out why Thunderwear and SmartCarry were different, it was an easy decision to buy a SmartCarry.

Charlie,

I received my holster and showed my wife. She laughed at me when she saw the holster in my hand and after I told her how it is worn. I put the holster on with my Kel-Tec PF9 and a spare magazine, without telling her. We spent that afternoon grouting the walls surrounding our tub. I was standing on the edge of the tub and the gun was at her eye level for several hours and she never knew. I finally withdrew the gun and showed her I had it. She could not believe I had been wearing it all afternoon!

Another point I want to make is I am 5'7" and 225 pounds. I am large framed and have a belly. I was concerned it would be difficult to draw the gun or it would be uncomfortable to carry it, due to my stomach. It is no problem.

A pocket holster I ordered from another company came today. I placed my gun in it and put it in my pocket. I hated it, after wearing the SmartCarry. I am returning the pocket holster immediately!

Dear Charlie,

Received the holster today, 8/28/08. I'm wearing it with my Witness and a spare mag as I'm typing this. I'm just blown away by it. This ain't a li'l gun, yet it's completely concealed and comfortable, even though I was born without a butt. My wife just keeps saying "Wow you can't tell it's there".

Can't thank you enough. This was my first purchase, but it won't be my last.

Sincerely,

Charlie,

Just wanted to pass along my complete satisfaction with your SmartCarry system. I have been able to carry a large-frame S&W 4566 (.45 cal) pistol every day since I made the purchase over 4 months ago. Nobody has any idea I carry, and I've made it through "security" pat-downs and wandings. Due to the placement of the holster, nobody even guesses.

Additionally, I was recently in a motorcycle accident while wearing the SmartCarry holster. Even after hitting a guardrail at 50+ mph and then tumbling down the road, my weapon was secure and undamaged. A sheriff, that was present while the paramedics cut my pants off in order to treat me, said he'd never seen anybody carry a weapon in that way and didn't know about the system. He was impressed, and fortunately I've got a permit for concealed-carry.

Thank you for your commitment to quality and safety, and for the anonymity of this message.

CONFIDENTIAL

Charlie:

Your product passed the Xxx Xxxxxx (sweat'n bullets/TAKING a chance test). I received my holsters the other day and to see just how good your product is, I did something that I know what a bone headed thing to do, but I wanted to prove to myself beyond a shadow of a doubt it was just "THAT" good. I wore your holster with my Springfield XD40 to our fall festival and was one of the veterans on the lead float. I stood next to the local law enforcement officers and talked with them and several other people and not one person noticed, asked or even looked at me with curiosity. I tell you this because the state I live in is the most stringent gun state in the country, Illinois. I would have been arrested if caught, but it was a chance I was willing to take not only to prove your product does "exactly" what you say it does, but also as an act of defiance against the law makers of this backward/non people gun caring state.

I don't mind you using this as a testament but I only ask that you do not use my name, but I HAD to tell you, your product does "EXACTLY" what you claim it to do, conceal.

Most Respectfully:

R. E. - Bushnell, IL
