I purchased your lower abdomen concealed carry holster some time ago. I believe wearing it and carrying my handgun may have saved my life! Recently, I was approached in an isolated mall parking lot by four young men who threatened me and demanded my purse and keys. I responded by simply raising my t-shirt to my waist and showing them the butt of my ever-present Glock. I did not have to draw my gun at all. One look did it. They ran. I can honestly say that I would not have been carrying that day had I not had the convenience and complete concealment of your SmartCarry product. Thank you!

Webmaster's note: The above is from a lady customer who bought her SmartCarry® cc holster in early March of 2000. We will honor her request for anonymity and simply say she's from North Carolina. An e-mail like this makes us very grateful that our product saved this person a lot of grief and possible injury or death. And she's right about the comfort - I put my large size SmartCarry® on every morning when I dress, just like another piece of clothing. Where ever I go and can legally carry, my constant companion, "Mr. Ithaca", is always with me!
Charlie, I wore my smart carry out in public tonight and mingled smartly in a crowd of people at a party. Nothing. Zero. Nada. Zip. Zilch. I was waiting for the "Hey Howard, what is that sticking in your jeans? Never came! This holster is slicker'n snot on a glass doorknob!! Even my wife didn't pick up on it. Thank you once again!!.. New subject. There is a Bill in the House of Representatives introduced by (I forget) to preserve the second amendment of the constitution - HR 1762. Give your rep a call and have him support it.
Thanks. H. A. - Chesapeak, VAThank you for the e-mail and tips. I received the SmartCarry in good shape and am very satisfied with it from trying it out a bit around the house like we discussed.
The firearm fits perfectly, just as described and the unit is very comfortable. I'm sure it will continue to please and satisfy in "real use". Thanks for the good service!
I went up to continue my application process and it went very well with the fingerprinting portion, our Sheriff said. It is possible that in a month or so I could be permitted. Ironically, we've had several incidents lately in this usually rather quite and rural area here in extreme southern lower Michigan.
Several nights ago a sheriff's Deputy stopped to check an open door at a church a few miles from here in the open country side. He called for backup but decided to go in before they got there. Well, he soon got more than he bargained for. He flushed out a robber caught in the act, except that as he chased him outside, a buddy of his ambushed him and pinned his head to a wall with a gun while he cuffed the officer with his service handcuffs! Then, the 2 left fast in a car, but a backup officer took up pursuit. Coming toward our house, shots were fired at the cruiser, disabling it and one bullet went through the windshield & got the edge of the Officer's shoulder. He was hospitalized & released to light duty the next day. As Sheriff Richardson said: "We could have had 2 dead cops."
Then yesterday at 4:30 p.m. in broad daylight a lady was walking along a road 3 miles south of here and was abducted & taken to a more secluded area & raped. A sketch artist is making up a likeness according to her description.
I thought of your leaflet describing SmartCarry. If this young lady had been prepared like the one on your sales sheet, she might not have been the victim of that nasty crime (provided she could sense that she had a chance to go for it and make it stick). There would be little time or room for error, but I think it could have been done even by a lady well trained and equipped.
Well, have a good evening, and thanks for the service you provide in your products.
Best regards to you,
K. M. - Clayton, MICharlie,
Thanks for a great product. Your holster meets the 3 main requirements: 1. Well concealed
2. Comfortable 3. Easy and rapid access of the weapon. The quick service was also appreciated.
The only thing I can think to improve on would be more photos of Kristina on the website. LOL
Thanks again,
M. S. - Dallas, TXI am writing to tell you how pleased I am with your product. I currently carry a Smith & Wesson
4006 TSW with combat grips. I've worn it practically everywhere, including to a wedding where it
was perfectly concealed in my tuxedo.
A few weeks ago, I appeared at a hearing in federal court in Massachusetts (I'm an attorney, not a defendant). The court's procedure requires me to announce that I am carrying and proceed to an area where I can be supervised while I check my weapon. The U.S. Marshalls could not believe that I carried a full-size automatic in a suit without printing.

place your order!Dear Smart Carry,
I received a medium sized holster today and immediately was struck by the quality and comfort. I much admire your product. We will vacation at Isla Morada in September, and I don`t see any problem with concealment. While I have ya, there is one question? What is the tiny pocket on the end for? Maybe the house keys?
Sincerely,
J. F. - Caldwell, NJ
(Webmaster's note: The small "pocket" J. F. is referring to is the area created by the seam that defines the end of the tactical reload pocket and strengthens the bond of the front panel to the rear panel. However, we have told some customers that it's there to keep a quarter and a dime handy in the event you have to use the firearm in SmartCarry® for self-defense, you can immediately call an attorney or the ASDI (America Self Defense Institute)!

Charlie:
I received my holster yesterday while I was home for lunch. I wore it the rest of the day at work. I work in an office, and was wearing my lightest weight, pleated slacks. The butt of the weapon showed a little. My wife said she thought it looked like I had a personal issue going on, but I was wearing a vest, too, which obscured it. Some of my jeans are too tight to wear with it, but I drove three hours last night to my in-laws in some loose jeans shorts and had no problems.
This is the most comfortable I have been while driving and carrying. I worked this morning clearing willows out of a creek bed, wearing the holster under a looser pair of jeans. My mother-in-law was working with me and had no idea that I was carrying. Of course, I didn't fall into the water with one of the little saplings, like she did :)
There was some sweat on the pistol when I got done, of course, but that's just a wipe with a little bit of oil on a rag. Normal for carrying concealed. The holster seems well made, of durable materials. I think it's going to be with me for a long time, and I don't think it's going to spend much time in a drawer, either!!
This is way more comfortable than any belt or IWB waistband carry. It's even more comfortable than the KT belt clip. In fact, I took my belt clip off. I probably won't be putting it back on anytime soon.
Thanks, Charlie. You're doing something worthwhile.
Keep it up!!
D. H. - Saratoga, UTDear Charlie,
The Smart Carry is fantastic. The holster sits very comfortable on your hips with no weight pulling down. Very easy access to your weapon whether standing or sitting. I'm carrying a Glock 27 and it is unbelievable how comfortable it really is. Living in Las Vegas, I wear shorts and sandals over seven months a year (sorry about that), and this holster is totally hidden. No one even knows I'm carrying anything, and I like that. Your weapon is totally hidden until needed! Thanks for the incredibly fast service also.
M. S. - Las Vegas, NVI have to admit, when I saw the ad for this product, I was a little skeptical. But after looking and even trying some other products, I was looking for something that was going to be truly concealable. Not only that, but I wanted a holster that would be accessible as well as comfortable.
After reading the customer comments and the FAQ's, I thought I would try one. I mean, for $40.00 it was a safe investment. After all, if it didn't work, at least I hadn't blown $60.00 like I did with the pager pal, which by the way is a nice idea if you have a waistband made of steel and a gun small enough not to drag your waistline down or bulges out like you're carrying something (like a gun).
Not only did I receive my product VERY quickly, I also got a call from Charlie himself double checking my order. Where else have you ordered where the owner of the company calls to ensure satisfaction?
Okay, that's all the niceties, but here is the final verdict. IT WORKS! Not only does it work for my very concealable .38 lightweight, but as I am typing this, I am holstering my Ruger P-95, which is a pretty bulky gun with a rather long butt on it.
I was so impressed by the IMMEDIATE ease and comfort, I thought I'd find out just how concealable this was. With blue jeans on (which can fit rather tight around the waist), I put my firearm in my new holster and went out to a busy restaurant. Not only did nobody see anything, but I sat with complete comfort in two ways. The first was there was not pressure poking at my legs or any part of me. The second, was I had found what I had been searching for. I want my gun accessible at all times in the event of an emergency. I don't want to attract attention giving other people knowledge I have a gun on me.
Okay, a lot of stuff, but I really could write much more. Just remember these points:
1.) Very concealable (does not require a small pistol either)If those 5 main points are what you're looking for in a holster, I encourage you to give this product a try.
No fancy advertisements, just honest facts by honest people writing praise about a solid product from an honest company.
B. J. - Nashville, TNHi Charlie,
I bought a holster from you in West Palm Beach and I love it. When are you guys coming down
to Miami? When is the next gun show down here?
Let me know.
Thanks,
J. B.U. - Miami, FL
place your order!I received the package yesterday, and I am quite pleased with the SmartCarry. I have not carried concealed
up until now, so I do not have much to compare it against, but it is surprisingly easy to use and does not often
get in the way. Thank you for a fine product.
As for the extra SmartCarry that was logged in your books as shipped, I have not yet received it if it was sent. I will let you know, though, if I receive another.
Thanks again!
W. T. - Saint Leo, FL
Webmaster's note: We understood W. T. hadn't received his SmartCarryTM a week or so after we'd shipped it, so we sent another. It could have gotten lost in the mail, rare, but it can happen!Hello again Charlie,
Just another comment on the SmartCarry concealed holster. As I said before this is a great concealed holster, I think my exact words were AWESOME.. well I'm still wearing it everyday and it seems as if its just getting more comfortable and less noticeable (noticeable to me that is). Either that or I'm losing weight :), (nothing wrong with that) either way I'm very glad I came across your site. The only person who notices it at all is my Girlfriend, and she usually gets this huge silly grin on her face when she does. But an example of how unnoticeable this is. Last weekend I went over to my parents house and as usual started wrestling with my little brother (he would say I was picking on him, I call it brotherly love and the need to teach him to protect himself), as is the norm it took me just a few seconds to put him in a position that he could not see how to get out of. Well my middle brother was sitting on the stairs next to us and he decided to tell my Youngest how to get out by telling him to hit me below the belt (brotherly love here at it's finest). Youngest said no because he didn't want to hit my gun (he's over my house every weekend so he knows I don't go anywhere without my gun-middle brother doesn't know I carry everywhere) My Mother was sitting there also and she asked if I was carrying so I gently tapped the front of my pants showing where my gun was, well my Middle brother just about fell over with surprise because where he was sitting he figured that he should have seen it. No printing of any sort.
Then He asked about how long it would take to draw, I smiled as I told him to come out back with me. I unloaded my gun and removed the round from the chamber (SAFETY FIRST) ensured that it was unloaded then put it in the holster. Told him to watch closely, then drew my gun from the holster, quickly, cleanly and without any hesitation, had the gun out and presented. Needless to say, again his jaw was on the ground in surprise, that a butterfly could have knocked him over. I feel that I still need to practice more at the range I go to, on drawing from concealed. But I think I impressed my middle brother. All in all, Great product, wouldn't trade for anything else for concealment. Thanks Charlie for the effort you put in this perfect product.
Satisfied Customer,
W. M. - Norfolk, VAI just wanted to say thanks again for such quick responses today. The reputation you have established precedes you.
Congratulations on developing such a well-built business. I'm looking forward to using your product.
W. T. - Saint Leo, FLI've been using one of your SmartCarry holsters for the past year to carry my full-size Baby Eagle .40S&W. I use it every day, and it is absolutely great. My wife can generally tell whether or not I'm carrying, but she's the only one who cares enough to stare at that part of my anatomy for any length of time. This may sound frightening, but I've only washed the holster once...it just doesn't pick up much dirt or sweat, since it's always in front of underwear and usually a shirt too. I'm a fan of good design, and you have developed a first-rate design. Count me as a very satisfied customer.
J. L. G. - Bryan, TXHi Charlie,
I am a recent first-time gun owner. The holster that I purchased with the gun was bulky and uncomfortable. I scoured the web for something which could be worn often and be as comfortable as possible. When I came across your website and read your customer comments, I felt your product had to be what I was looking for. You didn't disappoint! The holster is very comfortable and my girlfriend had no idea I was wearing it all day. Thanks for making a superior product that delivers.

This holster is AWESOME...and the service is just as GREAT... when I put my order in it was on a Sunday, took the whole week for my money order to get to Charlie but he emailed me on the following Saturday saying he got my money order and had put my holster in the mail on his way out to a show. I figured the holster wouldn't arrive until Wed being that it went out on Sat but it arrived first thing Monday morning. Took every ounce of will power for me not to put it on then. But I waited till I got home and tried it on. Once I got it put on properly (wasn't pulling the straps tight enough at first) and then put my full sized Glock 22 in the holster. At first I noticed it, felt the weight and everything but my Girlfriend said she knew it was there but couldn't see it. So I then put it on when I was getting ready to leave from work and no one there noticed I had my Glock concealed and I had every one there check. Then the final test was I asked my Mom if she could tell if I was wearing it (Mom notices everything) and she couldn't tell. Now that I've had it for a couple of months I rarely notice that I'm wearing it. I have 3 small children ages 7, 5, and 3 and we wrestle and play and anything else you can think and I forgot sometimes that I have the holster on. It's wonderful and I'm glad that I was able to find it. Have been recommending it to my friends that carry concealed.
Thanks again Charlie for such a wonderful product.
W. M. - Norfolk, VACharlie,
I've recently bought one of your holsters and after wearing it around for a couple weeks to get used to it I thought I would really put it to the test. Here it is:
As a 35 yr. old 3rd Degree Black Belt, I teach a Cardio-Kickboxing (Tae-Bo) class at our Martial Arts schools on the side. Cardio-Kickboxing is basically an Aerobics class with a lot of jumping, punching, and kicking to loud music. All I wear during the class is a pair of elastic gym shorts and a tank top.
I put my Taurus Model 85 .38 special 2"barrel snub-nose stainless steel revolver (27 oz.) in my Smartcarry holster and proceeded to begin class. It never obstructed or hindered my movement in any way!! I'm talkin' taekwondo kicks as high as your head, full split stretches on the floor, etc.!!
After class, I showed my Instructor(8th Degree Black Belt and daily carrier himself) what I had done by walking off the do-jang floor and pulling the firearm out of my shorts! He was blown away and also some more of my Black Belt buddies who happened to be there.
The best thing is that none of the 25 ladies taking my class had any idea I was packing.
Because it's so comfortable I'm now carrying much more often than ever before. Thanks for a great product.
Sincerely,
B. C.Hello-
My pack arrived today and I wore it around the house tonite. It is as advertised-very comfortable and noone knew without my telling them I was carrying.I look forward to trying it tomorrow and will let you know in a few days how its going.
So far so good ! Great product
Thanks
J. M. - Gahanna, OHI just received my SmartCarry. I immediately tried it out with my Glock 27. I gotta tell you, this thing is a real piece of artwork. I work in an office where the dress code is business casual (slacks, dress shirt and no jackets). It is extremely difficult to carry concealed and be comfortable doing it in this type of attire. Up until now, the only solutions that half-way worked for me were either an inside the shirt or on the ankle; both of which offered lousy access.
The SmartCarry offers extreme comfort, fast and easy access, and its totally concealed with no lines. One other thing I noticed right off: When carrying under the arm, or on the hip, it seems that one is always sub-conciously guarding that part of the body. With SmartCarry, you almost just forget its there. Its great.
K. C. - Salt Lake City, UTTo The Makers Of SmartCarry Security Holster,
Never have I been so impressed with a product that I went to the trouble of writing (typing) a letter. I have tried many holsters, and none compares to the SmartCarry. I had finally found two that were small enough, and easy enough to wear that I thought I was finished with my search. Then I decided to try the SmartCarry Security Holster.
Unbelievable! I have never seen such a small holster that hides so well and draws so clean, it's flawless. I can now carry BOTH my Smith & Wesson .38 special AND my KelTec P40 together, right in front of me, no matter what the occasion.
I am even thinking about getting another SmartCarry (in white) just for the gym.
Really, an incredible product, thanks.
