Hi There,

I just wanted to let you know that I received my S/C holster a couple days ago and haven't taken it off [waking hours] since. It is so comfortable that I hardly know I'm wearing it. The beautiful part is, no one else knows I'm wearing it either. It truly is invisible, even w/o a shirt. You can't say that about ANY other holster. I carry a SigSauer P239, and even though I have a rather large belly, the Sig is easily drawn. I wear suspenders [always have] because belts don't get the job done any more. If I had to wear a belt, it would have to be so tight that a quick draw would be difficult, but for my needs, it's a perfect holster.

Thanks,

Xxxxxxx Xxxxx - Buffalo Mills, Pa

P.S.: I have recommended this product to all my friends who carry.

Message.............: I've used one of your holsters for two years and I love it. I carry concealed every day at work (T-shirt and jeans) and your holster is by far the most concealable and comfortable I've ever used. I'm having to replace mine now because the muzzle end of the slide is wearing a hole in the denim since I wear it so much. I tell all my friends that have concealed carry permits about your holsters. At least one has ordered a SmartCarry holster and likes it. I'm always surprised when I read an article in a major gun magazine about concealed carry methods and I've never seen your holster mentioned. That is a shame since your product is without a doubt a superior method to conceal a handgun than anything mentioned in the articles.

Thank you - K. M. - Colorado Springs, CO

Webmaster's note: K. just placed and order with us for a replacement for the SmartCarry® he purchased in November of 1999 and put his comments in the message section of the secure order form on our website. We've often wondered why no one except a writer here in Florida who carries in a SmartCarry®, and a lady who posted a review years ago on rec.guns on the Internet, has ever given us a review. But as long as our customers keep giving us great reviews, that's what really counts!

On Dec 11 at 9:30 PM, I placed an order for a SmartCarry security holster. First off let me say that I was very pleased to receive a order confirmation the next morning and two days later my holster was delivered!

After reading the directions on wearing and spending a few days getting used to it. I must tell you your product is fantastic.

I work as a boat Captain in the Florida Keys which has a very tropical climate. I seldom wear more than shorts and a tank top. Even with this little amount of coverage I find the holster comfortable and virtually invisible. Concealed never was a more appropriate term. No one has any idea that I am carrying either my 380 Beretta or my 9MM S&W. They both fit the holster perfectly. The construction of the holster is first class and your prompt service is great. Count me as a very satisfied customer and fell free to use my endorsement.

Charlie,

M. here from Wichita, KS. Remember me? I'm the man in a wheelchair that ordered one of your Smart Carry's. Well, I've had it about 6 weeks now and love it. I can't even tell I'm wearing it anymore with my Glock23.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with your product. I will be ordering a 'backup' from you in the near future, after the holidays. Are you still offering the "XXX XXXX" discount?

Oh, one more thing, Raytheon (Beechcraft) recently layed off a bunch of middle management people recently.

M. B. - Wichita, KS

Webmaster's note: We've X'ed out the name of the Second Amendment personality M. mentioned - you'll have to find it for yourself! M. e-mailed us before he purchased his SmartCarry® and asked if we thought he'd be able to use it, as he was confined to a wheelchair. We told M. that we have other customers in similar situations that can and do use SmartCarry®, and the best way to find out would be to order one and try it. We reminded M. that we offer a 60 day trial period. You can see from M.'s e-mail above that SmartCarry® did work for him. He mentioned Raytheon (Beechcraft) because in our initial telephone conversation (M. called to order his SmartCarry®) I mentioned to M. that I'd spent a lot of time in Wichita as I was Avionics Manager for Stevens Aviation, a Beechcraft dealer, and I missed the excellent food on Kellog Street!

Charlie, it arrived this morning, by First Class Mail postmarked December 28th from Zip 33777, obviously the one you just shipped last week.

Fits like a glove, and I immediately tucked the Mustang and a clip in for a day full of running around, getting in and out of the car many times.

TOTALLY COMFORTABLE and at times I forgot it was there. I can't imagine another hidden holster that would be as comfortable. Being retired in Texas, I usually don't have a jacket or coat on and I have never found a comfortable ankle rig. You sure found the answer!

If the one mailed earlier shows up, I will send it back to you. Thanks again for the quick replacement.

H. W. - Sandy Springs, TX

Webmaster's note: H. ordered an extra small SmartCarry® for his Colt Mustang on Dec. 6 and we shipped it on Dec. 7, but it never arrived. When he contacted us, we immediately sent a replacement SmartCarry®. That's what H. is referring to in the first paragraph of his e-mail. We'd like to mention that we told H. when he placed his order that you can run or jog as fast and as long as you wish and SmartCarry® won't interfere with you in any way. Now H. knows, first hand, what we meant! And I'd like to add that you can also do all of the above with a full size, 52.25 oz. (loaded weight) M1911A-1, like Charlie carries!

Charlie,

I just wanted to drop a line and let you know how much I'm enjoying, YES, actually enjoying wearing my recently-purchased Smart Carry!!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't been able to say that about any other holster system, EVER! I've been a Deputy Sheriff for eight years in a county in North Carolina and I've tried just about every conceivable type of concealment method (inside-waistband, waistpacks, standard belt, shoulder holsters, ankle holsters, etc.) all with varying degrees of success or none at all. This method works with all manner of clothing just as the website says. I've always been something of a clotheshorse and I'm not given to wearing the photographer vest as a normal fashion statement. It works perfect with jeans, dress and suit pants, as well as your run-of-the-mill elastic waist gym shorts and running pants. NO ONE has picked up on the fact that I'm carrying a weapon. As I've read from your other customers, not even my wife picked up on it until I mentioned it. I'd like to pass along a few tactical/technical notes, also. Instead of using cloth or safety pins to rig the spare magazine pocket, I had my mother double stitch a pocket that exactly fit the magazine. In so doing, it created another mini pocket. I use this pocket for a spare handcuff key and the other for the 35 cents you've spoken about in your literature, only I would most likely use it when I let my cell phone battery drain out! I would also recommend to future users to stick with buying relaxed or loose fit jeans. They provide much more comfort than would traditional fit.

Thanks again for a wonderful product and excellent customer service! After pulling the wool over the eyes of a few more co-workers, I'll be sending you some business!

Sincerely,

K. R. - Indian Trail, NC

Charlie,

You were right! I put it on a little lower and followed your directions to the letter. Thanks for the tip. You can put me down as a satisfied customer.

Sincerely,

P. S. - Elk Grove Village, IL

Webmaster's note: P. was having trouble sitting down when wearing jeans, with dress trousers it was ok. What we told P. was that this problem is usually caused by wearing the holster too high. When you put SmartCarry® on, over the top of everything that will tuck into your lower outer garment, make sure that the strapping wraps around the top of your hips and not your waist or upper abdomen. It makes a big difference!

--- This is the fellow from Michigan who ordered a SmartCarry holster this past summer prior to having my CCW permit. I have been carrying now for almost 3 months and couldn't be happier with the holster. It performs just as advertised.

I appreciate your personal encouragement along the way as I was going through the early phases of getting used to the idea of carrying and the usefulness of a good holster. The firearm I described carries well in the holster and at times I do not even "feel" it there after getting used to it by now. And, access is quick and easy as practiced at home and occasionally when target practicing.

Yes, I put it on right over my shirt, but then in the back I pull the shirt tail over the strap so that if my pants sag a bit, the holster strap does not show. I leave my undershirt below the strap which buffers the velcro from touching my skin--- works well & very comfortable!

Thanks again!

Sincerely,

M. K. - Clayton, MI

Charlie:

Your quick answers to all my email questions and your satisfaction guarantee convinced me to try your SmartCarry holster in white for my AMT .380 BackUp, which is my normal carry gun.

The holster arrived here very quickly after I ordered it, and I see why you offer the satisfaction guarantee -- you must know that anybody who tries this holster is going to think, "what's not to love?" !!!

After wearing it almost full time for a week, it's as comfortable as you say, and absolutely invisible under all the clothes I've tried it with. It's secure, stable, and allows for a much quicker draw than I thought it would, at least from a standing position. Not bad from a seated position either, with a little practice. It's great!

Thank you for a wonderful product. It works so well I may be ordering a second one for a larger, heaver gun that I wouldn't normally have considered for daily carry.

Again, thank you!

Again, thanks for your excellent service.

The "trouble" his is referring to in the first paragraph of his e-mail was the fact that our secure server was down for a period of time and he couldn't place his order. Dear Smartcarry (Charlie),

Some time back, after a brief correspondence, I ordered a SmartCarry rig for my Colt Mustang. I've loved it since and recently discussed it on Glock Talk, a firearms realted forum where somebody specifically asked about your rigs. Thought you'd like to read it. You my use/reprint/whatever at will. Thanks for a great product and for a substantial measure of safety over the last year. You may expect another oder for my new G23 soon. (The Levi's comment is unrelated.)

The site's expanded nicely - haven't been back since I ordered.

-JB - Framingham, MA

(Posted on the Glock Talk Group)

Smart Carry rigs are terrific. I've used one with my small .380 for more than a year, wearing it under pleated pants every day to work at a place where I could be fired if found out. This tells you several things: 1.) I like the heck outta these things. 2) It is a completley concealed rig. It never "flashes" except in the men's room (use a stall). The only printing is towards the wearer who usually thinks it shows more than it does. 3) VASTLY more comfortable that any of the other four rigs I own for the same gun. 4) They hold up well, I should get another year at least outta mine. and 4) I work in a really crappy neighborhood. I have no affiliation with SmartCarry except having been it's customer. I asked 'em questions before I bought and they're completely responsive via e-mail if you have some too. I recently bought my first Glock and it came with a decent carry rig that I can use for cold weather and weekends. However, I intend to start carrying the Glock FT so you know what I'll be buying as soon as the warm weather returns.

Gary, thanks much for the Levi's info. (Think it's worth another thread.) I'm joining you in your boycott effective immediately.

Whenever I've been in a t-shirt and jeans, I've always had to choose between no carry, .22 carry, or the major bulge caused by an IWB holster. I was a bit skeptical about the SmartCarry, but now not having a jacket doesn't mean I have to leave my .45 at home. I love it!

Thanks all.

Hi Charles,

My order arrived today. Fast service, I must say.

Tried it on with the 9MM and was amazed at what it did. I really don't think anyone would know I was carrying, even with that comparatively bulky weapon.

Will try it with my 38 Special with 2" barrel next. That one will probably just disappear when I put it into the concealed holster. Very happy with the order, and the extra clip pocket is a plus. Would be happier if the barrel was pointing at another part of the anatomy but then, the conceal wouldn't be nearly as affective.

Nice product!

Thanks,

C. J. C. - Scott, LA
